今回、アマゾンで見つけたのがこれ。2001年にSONYよりリリースされ1974年から1996年までのDISCOでかかってそうな曲を集めたもの。12inchヴァージョンの曲や、アルバム・ヴァージョンの曲がCD3枚計40曲収録されております、これで￥1,914は安い！
収録曲を見ると70年代の12inchヴァージョンは新鮮でしたね、DISC1のHEATWAVEやマリーナ・ショウなんかカッコいいね。でもTOTO / GEROGY PORGY(DISCO VERSION）はオリジナルと見分けが出来なかったなー（苦笑）
エイティーズで懐かしいのがボニー・タイラー「ヒーロー」のクラブ・ミックスもあるし、DEAD OR ALIVE / YOU SPIN ME ROUND(MURDER MIX）なんてのもあります。
更に聴いて懐かしさを感じたのはFACE TO FACE / 10-9-8(DANC EMIX)ですかねー、テン・ナイト・エイトってサビを思い出します。
FACE TO FACEは1984年、今からもう22年前ですね。おっ、ロマンティックスまで収録されているぞ。
米アマゾンのカスタマーレヴューではあまり良くないようだが、日本人の耳で聴くとそんなこともないぞ、ただ年代の幅広過ぎってのはるね。
仲間とお喋りしたりと集っている時に聴くと懐かしさ全開になるかもね、70年代、80年代は自然とノッてしまいますね！とにかく踊りましょう、日曜の朝まで！
